Company Background

Scurri is a fast-growing e-commerce shipping platform that makes personal delivery simple for e-commerce merchants. The company has seen a 300% growth in transactions in the period from January 2015 to January 2016. It has also seen gross merchandise volume (GMV) climb 182% to €191m in Q1 2017 compared with Q1 2016. In 2015, eBay partnered with Scurri to gain access to the company’s platform and provide enhanced delivery solutions to its customer base.

The Challenge

.

Scurri are in the process of building out their growth engine which means they needed to bring in scalable and repeatable processes into their sales operations.

With a smaller team Scurri were using some basic CRM and marketing automation packages, however as they started to grow their sales team, the old processes and systems didn’t scale.

In addition they didn’t have good enough visibility on lead and order pipeline due to the limitations of the old system.

The old systems were not only causing problems with the operations on a day to day basis, but prevented information from being easily accessible and didn’t enable effective decision making.

Enhancements that drive improved business results and ultimately, Profit. Scurri originally wanted a rapid Sales Cloud deployment. After the first planning session it became clear that a tailored solution for their customer success team to support onboarding, was key to project success. This became part of the first Deploy phase.

Pardot was planned for much later but after experiencing the success of the initial deployment, Scurri brought this Enhance phase forward. Further Enhancements included integration to Xero using Breadwinner and Docusign for Salesforce.

The Outcome

.

Scurri now have much greater visibility of their pipeline and a system that is flexible enough to be customised to their needs. This allows sales and marketing to be more effective whilst being much more transparent about the business. It also helps the entire organisation to focus on their customers needs so they can deliver greater value and ensure they can provide great service.
