The Challenge

With MicroEnsure’s focus on providing a world class multinational service the requirement to operate as a multinational employer became increasingly apparent. They didn’t have good enough visibility on employees across the organisation preventing information from being easily accessible and didn’t enable effective decision making. They needed a system to help automate key tasks and processes and increase employee engagement. Using internal HR and Business Analyst resources, the investment in obtaining a consolidated and clear system to coordinate and measure MicroEnsure’s people around the world was essential.

Sage People was the natural choice for MicroEnsure as they were already working with Sage who provide support for critical business processes such as payroll and who deeply value the existing relationship with MicroEnsure, and a clear strategy was developed to cover key objectives including:

  • MicroEnsure-branded user experience that can be utilised to communicate with and engage the whole workforce and accelerate adoption

MicroEnsure wanted to ensure global consistency. Working with the core UK team the key processes were defined.  MicroEnsure then invested in a workshop held the UK to bring the global HR Team together, including representation from India, Philippines and Kenya which was key to a successful launch.
